Gifts to take home from Iran

I usually bought my gifts for the holidays seasons in US at the last country of my trip, which is Spain for this trip, to minimize the weight I have to carry. However, Iran has wide more unique items to offer for people living in the west,  so I have been buying small gifts in different Iranian cities.

Dry rose buds and rose oil from Kashan

Copper disks and camel gift boxes from Esfahan

Candy from Yazd
Yazd is famous for its sweets, which can be purchased at hundreds of shops throughout the city. The best and most famous of these is Haj Khalifeh Ali Rahbar (www.hajkhalifehalirahbar.com, cnr Amir Chakhmaq Sq & Imam Khomeini St), which specializes in the following: Almond louz (sweet made with almond, pussy willow and sugar)
Baghlava (sweet made with ground almond, flour, sugar, pistachio and cardamom), Coconut louz (sweet made with coconut powder, sugar.

Teas from shariz

Saffron
Iran accounts for approximately 90 percent of the world production of saffron. Because each flower's stigmas need to be collected by hand and there are only a few per flower, saffron is the most expensive spice in the world.
